Ashton perez-george

center

“If I cannot play offence, I will play defence. If I cannot play defence, I will play offence. If I cannot have both, I will give everything I have to what remains.”

Despite being severely undersized as a center, Ashton brings a physical presence to the Coyotes as one of the team's stronger players. He balances his strength with occasional playmaking ability and can be a capable mid-range scorer when he finds his rhythm. His greatest strength, however, is rebounding. Ashton uses his physicality, positioning, and determination to battle for possessions and give the Coyotes additional opportunities on both ends of the floor.

ABOUT

While ball handling is not a major part of his game, Ashton makes up for it with reliable ball security and an understanding of when to keep things simple. He does not need to overcomplicate his game to be effective. When he gets into a rhythm and finds his zone, his confidence and impact can rise significantly, allowing him to become a powerful presence on the court.

PLAYING STYLE

Relentless Rebounder

Ashton's strongest role is controlling the boards. Using his physical strength and determination, he battles for rebounds, protects possessions, and creates second-chance opportunities for the Coyotes.

Physical Mid-Range Presence

Combining strength with a developing offensive game, Ashton can work his way into scoring positions and become particularly dangerous from the mid-range when he finds his rhythm. When he gets into the zone, his confidence can quickly turn him into a difficult player to stop.

Strong, Simple Playmaker

Ashton plays within his strengths, using good ball security and occasional playmaking to support the team's offense. Although he is not a ball-handler, he knows how to protect possession, make the simple pass, and use his strength to remain composed when pressured.
